What courses does the Diamond Academy of Botswana offer?
We currently offer four HRDC-accredited short courses focused on diamond handling, processing, and related skills. Our Diploma programme is still pending BQA approval and will be introduced once accredited.

Is the academy accredited?
Yes. Our short courses are accredited by HRDC, and our BQA Diploma accreditation application is under review. We will update students as soon as the approval is finalized.

Who is eligible to apply for your programmes?
Our programmes are open to school leavers, industry professionals, and anyone interested in gaining skills in the diamond sector. No prior experience is required for most short courses

What are the career opportunities?

Graduates can pursue careers in various areas of the diamond value chain, including diamond sorting, valuation, cutting and polishing, jewellery manufacturing, quality control, security operations, and retail sales.

Short courses typically run for several weeks, depending on the programme. Diploma courses (once accredited) will follow a longer, structured academic schedule.
